Zombie Author Flash! Fiction by William Todd Rose

William Todd Rose

Charles felt as though he should weep, but there were no tears left. He’d cried them all and dried up his soul, leaving only a husk which played at being human. No better really than those things lurching toward him. So he simply held the blood-splattered baby shoes and allowed the shadows to engulf him.

This Author Flash is  from zombie author William Todd Rose,

A Zombie Author Flash is exactly 55 words long. It may be factual, creative, or a “flash-fiction” story. Ideally, the author flash will represent something essential or unique about the zombie author. Jule welcomes contributions from zombie authors or their reps. Original work from any of the zombie authors will be greeted with squeals of delight and published faster than you can say "zombie apocalypse."
